Your clothes don’t have to succomb to this!

I don’t really have to explain myself on this do I? I will implore you to PLEASE not wipe your baby’s precious little poopy bottom with your dress, or any other article of clothing that you are not fully prepared to submerge under water immediately. Just in case you aren’t aware, they make these wonderful little things called “baby wipes” nowadays. They are relatively inexpensive and they sell them at your local department and/or grocery store. Besides all that, if you do happen to choose to wipe your baby’s bum with your shirt sleeve or what have you, please be fully prepared to ward off any friends and family with that awful stench emanating from your person. Thank you in advance for (hopefully) not using your own clothing to clean their rears.

    Drowning…The Silent Killer?

It’s summer fun time! And to a lot of folks that means endless afternoons poolside, slushy colada in hand, kiddies splashing, laughing, creating memories, acquiring the beautiful sun kissed complexion that many adults envy (through layers of high SPF sunscreen, of course).

Most often, these good times go off without a hitch.  But sometimes the fun times come to a screeching halt when someone notices that little Johnny hasn’t come up for air in a while.  But what happened? There was no flailing, no screaming for help…And we were all right here by the pool.  How did this happen?  What many people don’t realize is that real life drowning doesn’t usually happen the way it does in the movies.

One of our readers sent a link (below)  for a great article outlining some important information on drowning prevention and warning signs to look out for.  Thank you for your support, and we hope to hear from you again soon!

Our baby’s first tantrum, and he’s only 5 months old! Good stuff, but kinda scary.

This is hilarious to watch, but kinda scary too…quite the attitude on a baby.  Of course we don’t plan to let this seemingly unprovoked lashing out continue through toddler-hood,  but for now we can only laugh.  Perhaps this was just an isolated incident thrown into the mix for our viewing pleasure? lol

This video is so great, I am not sure how this baby did this but I thought it was a perfect addition here.
